One of our clients identified the need to restructure. They had lost a key client and recognised that due to reduced income they needed to lose some posts. We talked them through the consultation process and advised them regarding the current and proposed structure charts. We then prepared the relevant documentation to be given to those staff whose roles were proposed as being ‘at risk’. We attended the Consultation meetings and provided meeting notes as well as advising on fair selection criteria for those who staff were eventually selected for redundancy. We prepared the spreadsheets detailing statutory redundancy payments. We also drafted documentation for those staff who were made redundant.
