Recruitment processes vary considerably between organisations. For some it is enough to sift CVs provided by an Agency and interview the top two candidates for a job. For others, recruitment involves a process of at least three interviews plus a Group Assessment and Psychometrics. What matters is that your process is fit for purpose and for your organisation. You need to be clear on the Job description and the criteria for the job. After that, as long as your recruitment process enables you to obtain evidence that the candidate meets the criteria then your selection process should work….
